Position Qualifications/Responsibilities

Position Qualifications - Responsibilities:

The Department of Information Systems at Kennesaw State University is creating a pool of applicants in anticipation of future openings for part-time faculty to teach courses related to information systems and information security. Responsibilities include teaching courses in information systems management, IT project management, database, programming (VB.net, Java, etc.), web development, IT architecture, systems analysis and design, principles of information security, information security management, contingency planning, digital forensics, network security, or other courses related to information systems and/or information security. Review of applications is ongoing. This position is renewable.

Required Education - Experience - Skills (Minimum Qualifications):

Master’s degree, or its foreign equivalent in information systems or information security or a closely related field required for Instructor; Earned doctorate, or its foreign equivalent in information systems, information security, or a closely related field required for professorial ranks. College-level teaching experience a plus.
