Position Qualifications/Responsibilities

Position Qualifications - Responsibilities:

The Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology at Kennesaw State University is creating a pool of applicants in anticipation of future openings for part-time faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses related to Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Quality Assurance. Responsibilities include teaching courses in probability/statistics, costing, engineering economy, quality, operations research, manufacturing, simulation, project management, and logistics. Review of the applications is ongoing. This position is renewable.

Required Education - Experience - Skills (Minimum Qualifications):

Earned doctorate or PhD, or its foreign equivalent is required for graduate level programs and upper level undergraduate programs. Master’s degree, or its foreign equivalent for some undergraduate programs in industrial and systems engineering and IET. College level teaching, related work experience, online teaching, and PE licensure are pluses.
Applicants with the training, ability, and/or experience equivalent to the minimum degree may be considered.
