Position Qualifications/Responsibilities

Position Qualifications - Responsibilities:

The Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education hires part-time faculty to teach Birth through Kindergarten courses. These positions are on an as-needed, per semester basis to teach traditional and non-traditional students at an on- or off-campus site.

Required Education - Experience - Skills (Minimum Qualifications):

Qualified applicants must have Master’s degree or higher in Child Development or closely related field (e.g., Early Childhood Education and Care, Early Childhood Special Education) or the foreign equivalent. A minimum 18 graduate hours in child development or human development. Applicants with the training, ability, and/or experience equivalent to the minimum degree may be considered.
As well, the qualified applicant must have at least two years of teaching experience with students in birth through kindergarten schools, and a commitment to working in an environment that fosters diversity and collaboration.
