Position Qualifications/Responsibilities

Position Qualifications - Responsibilities:

The Department of Social Work and Human Services at Kennesaw State University is creating a pool of applicants in anticipation of future openings for part-time faculty to teach social work courses as well as supervise students in internship sites. Responsibilities include teaching Social Work and/or Child Welfare courses, and mentoring/supervising students in agency settings. Review of applications occurs quarterly. This position is renewable.

Required Education - Experience - Skills (Minimum Qualifications):

Master’s degree in Social Work (or foreign equivalent) from a CSWE accredited program, and at least five (5) years of post-Master’s experience, is required to teach in the social work program. To teach child welfare courses, a minimum of 10 years of experience in child welfare is required. Candidates with LCSW are required. Earned doctorate in Social Work or related field is required for professorial ranks. Applicants with the training, ability, and/or experience equivalent to the minimum degree may be considered.
