Position Qualifications/Responsibilities

Position Qualifications - Responsibilities:

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Kennesaw State University is creating a pool of applicants in anticipation of future openings for part-time faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate Electrical Engineering courses. Responsibilities include teaching courses and/or laboratories in circuits, digital and embedded systems, electronics, machines, communications, electromagnetics, and control systems. Review of the applications is ongoing. This position is renewable.

Required Education - Experience - Skills (Minimum Qualifications):

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or its foreign equivalent) or in a closely related field is required for freshman and sophomore courses and any labs. A Ph.D. or P.E. in Electrical Engineering (or its foreign equivalent) is needed for junior or senior level courses. Applicants with the training, ability, and/or experience equivalent to the minimum degree may be considered.

College level teaching and related work experience and online teaching is ideal.
