Position Qualifications/Responsibilities

Position Qualifications - Responsibilities:

Applicants should be able to teach one or more of the following undergraduate classes:

Beverage Operations and Management
Spirits, Beers and Brews
Exploring the World of Wine
Beer Culture
Fundamentals of Brewing

The ability to teach upper-level courses in one or more discipline areas related to the culinary and hospitality fields is beneficial but not required. A commitment to excellence in teaching is expected of all faculty members in the Michael A. Leven School of Culinary Sustainability and Hospitality.

Required Education - Experience - Skills (Minimum Qualifications):

An earned Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in a culinary arts, food and beverage management, hospitality management, engineering and/or sustainability, or a closely related field, is minimally required. Applicants with the training, ability, and/or experience equivalent to the minimum degree may be considered. Ph.D. holders (or foreign equivalent) are welcome to apply as well. College-level teaching experience desirable. Appropriate accredited certifications and licenses are ideal.
